THE THINA NAMBA FOUNDATION is a non-profit organisation inspired by the rich cultural heritage of the Eastern Cape and beyond. Founded in October 2024 by Thina Namba, the foundation continues the legacy of African traditions, storytelling, and cultural practices as detailed in her books. Our mission is to safeguard the values and knowledge that define African identities.
Thina Namba
Hailing from the Eastern Cape, Thina Namba has over 15 years of experience in cultural preservation, including roles with the King Sandile Development Trust and the House of Traditional Leaders. With a BA in Public Administration and a Marketing Management Diploma, she has championed initiatives like the Moral Regeneration Movement. An accomplished author, her works Kwazi Bani? and Isangxa SikaRhaxothi explore cultural identity and leadership. Thina is deeply committed to storytelling and community empowerment.

service, education, media, and finance. With their collective vision,
the Thina Namba Foundation is able to engage a broad range of
stakeholders in the preservation of African heritage, ensuring the
relevance and impact of our work for generations to come.

Lukhona Magona
A graduate in Psychology and English Literature, Lukhona Magona brings expertise in teaching, media, and marketing. Her work with organisations like Women in Tourism highlights her dedication to amplifying causes that inspire positive change. She is committed to raising awareness for impactful initiatives and brands.
